Who we are

Jewish Family Service of Western New York (JFS) is committed to respecting your privacy. You can visit all portions of JFS’ website, JFSWNY.org, without revealing any personal information. Should you choose to provide us with any personal information, it will only be used by JFS for purposes of customer service. JFS does not sell or otherwise disclose user information outside the organization.

Email that you may send to JFS may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to you transmitting the information. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we utilize in the maintenance of information we receive by standard mail and telephone.

Donor Privacy

JFS may utilize the information users provide about themselves when making a donation online or offline to service that order. We may use any information submitted to contact the user with information and updates relating to their donation. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions and/or other requests, to provide periodic communications via email or standard mail, and may be stored in an internal, offline database maintained by JFS.

Jewish Family Service of Western New York does not sell, trade or share a donor’s personal information collected online or offline with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
